1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pact application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pact is a fitness and wellness application that allows users to track workouts, monitor health data, set fitness goals, participate in social features, and access personalised training insights.

3. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Pact offers auto-renewable subscription plans ("Pact Pro") that provide access to premium features including advanced analytics, AI-powered insights, and additional social features.

• Subscription Options: Monthly and annual plans are available. Pricing is displayed on the subscription screen within the App and may vary by region.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions).
• Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, workout data, comments). By posting content, you grant Pact a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your content within the App for the purpose of operating the service. You may delete your content at any time.

6. Health Data

Pact may access health and fitness data from Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) with your explicit permission. This data is used solely to display your health metrics within the App. Health data is never sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or used for purposes other than providing the App's core functionality. You may revoke health data access at any time through your device settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Post harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to interfere with the App's operation or security
• Impersonate other users
• Use automated systems to access the App

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Joi & Laff Ltd. All rights reserved. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Pact does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Fitness advice and AI insights are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise programme.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joi & Laff Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
